New year - new powder room ... on a budget ($1,300) It’s been long overdue project for the house, so when the plumbing started giving out on both the vanity and the toilet, it was a sign-the time is now or never! When we moved in 7 years ago, the only upgrade that it had seen was a fresh neutral coat of paint, which already was a big step-up from very pesky rich green wallpaper with flower accents (see the last picture, it’s worth it) everything else stayed original ...from 1990s. On average the cost of half bath remodel is between $3,500-5,000 labor and materials. Luckily, we end up spending only on materials, as my husband learned a lot about construction over the years with the management of our rental properties. Although, the bathroom is yet to be finished with some decor, overall picture is there. I wanted to experiment with ombré/gradient colors, and I love how it came out! What do you guys think? What accents should I add? A picture live plant or something else?
