We opened nine years ago. Black Friday 2011. Feeling nostalgic and sad at the same time. Yesterday was our ninth birthday and we could not open due to staffing issues. We will be open today. While this is not a picture of food, it is equally important to our guests and staff. This is an air purifier. There are 2 in the restaurant that run constantly during service. Without getting too technical, its impact is like opening the windows. We care a great deal about our staff and guests. Hopefully this will give you a bit more comfort to dine with us indoors. Come and try a very simple dish, fried polenta. Polenta was a Northern Italian staple and part of the cucina di povera [poor kitchen]. Chef Joe has mixed pecorino in the cake, with black garlic, lemon aioli and calabrian chili puree on the side. The dish is served with shisshito peppers and tomatoes. Reservations are required.
