Remember to show your MASA pride by wearing your gear, painting your face, making a sign, and bringing your outside voice to support the team!

As we begin the 2021/22 soccer season, we would like to remind everyone (players, parents, coaches, referees, volunteers, etc.), that it is our collective responsibilities to make every soccer game and/or practice fun, safe, and great learning environment for all. Parents and/or spectators are expected to abide by standard Sideline Etiquette rules: - Do not interact with the referees... - Cheer for your players, not against the other team PA West has a Zero Tolerance policy against abuse. This wait and see approach gives onside players an opportunity to continue the attack. A player in an offside position when their teammate passes or touches the ball cannot put themselves back onside. Returning to an onside position after the ball is passed or touched by a teammate does not erase a potential offside infraction. Build-out Line for 10-U games ONLY: The purpose of the build-out line is to allow goalkeepers and defenders more time to control the ball before being pressured from opposing players; to play the ball without pressure and confidently play out of the back. After the 2019-2020 Law changes, defenders can receive the ball inside the Penalty Area. Only once the kicking team’s player receives the ball (inside or outside the Penalty Area) may the opposing players advance beyond the build-out line. More details HERE. Our U11 boys were the Silver division runners-up at the Plum Kick-off Classic. After winning their first 3 games, they lost a heartbreaker 0-1 to Pine Richland in the last minute of the game. Good job this weekend, boys!
