Mountain Top Koi

I just went this morning and picked up the food order for resale food. We have food in quantites of 20 oz. can, 5 lb bag and 44 lb. bag of Zeigler foods. And also ShoKoi food in 2 lb. and 4 lb. containers. Feeding a food intended for koi is extremely important to the health of your koi and also can make a significant difference in the cleanliness of your pond and water quality. If you have any questions on how food quality can effect your fish and pond, feel free to contact me and I will share any information I have with you.

I finally have time to sit down for a few minutes after the event. What an AMAZING time we had over the weekend! The turnout was wonderful and we got to meet SO many new people and make new friends. I spent the last couple of days moving fish around that were brought up from the mud ponds during the event and getting fish settled into the mud ponds where they will continue to grow and improve over the summer. I want to Thank everyone that attended the event for being so patie...nt and friendly. I also want to thank all of those involved in making it such a huge success. Drew and Karen Bourne for getting everything for the lunches and anything else we needed. Rick and Sheila Cooper for the wonderful pictures and video along with the amazing cookies for dessert! Jim Cudworth for helping make the farm a huge success and all of the help you have provided to me and my family. And lastly but certainly not least, to my wonderful family for all of the support and help over the years to get us where we are now! Well, the cold weather is creeping in signaling an end to Koi Season. :-( I wanted to let everyone know that next weekend (Oct. 24th and 25th) will be our last weekend offering fish for this season. After next weekend I will be moving all fish to their winter homes in anticipation of Spring. So, if you want to grab some last-minute koi before winter hits, this is your last chance. Hope to see you!

Just a heads up! Mountain Top Koi will be closed for outside business tomorrow and Saturday, the 9th and 10th of October. We are excited to welcome the Hudson Valley MAKC Koi Club for a closed event those two days!

I want to extend a very special Thank You to all that attended the Fall Event. It was an amazing weekend full of fun! Many new faces we hope to see again and also a lot of the wonderful "family" we have come to know! Also, if it weren't for all our wonderful friends things would not go so smoothly or possibly not at all. Thank You Drew and Karen Bourne for all you do to help us prepare for feeding the masses. We had a wonderful time over the weekend at the Fall Harvest Event. We saw some AMAZING fish, ate some great food, and formed some wonderful new friendships! We ended up with 12 fish in the $100 grow out and 4 fish in the $200 grow out. There were some amazing fish available and many of those chosen by the entries. We look forward to growing these fish through the winter in our heated indoor 2,200-gallon pond and watch them develop into bigger and even more beautiful koi.
