Wow. What an amazing weekend at the 2017 Pocono Raceway Disc Golf Experience!!! Many thank you's to all of you who came out one or both days to participate! Th...is year was a huge upgrade from last year with custom baskets.... 36 to be on point. Two courses, a pdga flex c tier and all around fantastic summer weather!! Special thanks to my Ace in the hole and just an awesome person, Starrlee Warner. She makes working with the track a walk in the park. Not only is she the liaison from the track, she was on hand both days to assist in any way possible. She is a Rockstar and thankful for her friendship and guidance Many thanks to all of you who volunteered this weekend. You all were pivotal in helping provide a great player experience. Lastly, many thanks to my friends, family and teammates from Dynamic Discs. Bobby Brown, Eric McCabe, Robert McCall, Jonathan Ray and the boss man, Jeremy Rusco. Your tremendous support each year before, during and after the event is instrumental in providing the greatest player experience. Just by the quick 5-10 minute brainstorm session before departing already has me excited for 2018!

Finally!! The stars have aligned and I can announce the Saturday news for the Pocono weekend. Myself and Jonathan Ray of Dynamic Discs are hosting the FIRST...(that we know of) PDGA event ever held at a Super Speedway! The Pocono Raceway Flex-Start 1 Round C-Tier!!! Groups of 4 teeing off every 5 minutes from 9am to 1pm. Also on hand will be Bobby Brown, Jeremy Rusco and Eric McCabe, all from Dynamic Discs. $27 covers PDGA and course fees and all ams will get a disc of choice with entry. After a 9 day trip to and from the 2017 GBO in Emporia, KS i'm happy to be home. I cannot tell you how many great memories and friendships were made/rekindled this week! Disc Golfers Rock!

The 2017 Twin Grove weekend proved to be yet another amazing weekend. While Mother Nature saturated the course Thursday and Friday.we were blessed with decent weather Saturday and Sunday. Golfers trekked to the campground as early as late Friday morning to start their weekend getaway and we filled up nearly 20 sites over the weekend. 3-4-17 121 golfers ascended upon Camp Tecumseh & Alexandria on a cold and windy late winter morning. Greeting them was a full spread of donuts and coffee to help energize them; many thanks to our friends at Camp Tecumseh! Male Pros and MA1 played Alexandria then Camp Tecumseh while the Pro Ladies and all other amateurs played the reverse. During their course swap, Camp Tecumseh's Head Cook Dennis provided a huge lunch spread with massive burgers and monstrous hot dogs. Berkeley Springs is the last stop for gas before trekking into the mountains; fill up and get the last of rations there. 2.)
