Say goodbye to the old banners! Installation began this morning on new banners from Washington Lane to Cresheim Valley Drive, sponsored by the Mt. Airy Business Improvement District and Mt. Airy CDC, with funding support from the EMAN Community Fund of Philadelphia Foundation. The 6300 Block Business Alliance, which in the gray area between Germantown and Mt. Airy, opted for its own design, created by local artist Moneek Pines from Artrageous Brush and Flow.

The BID will hold it's first on-line RCO meeting on Tuesday, June 23rd, 7:00 p.m to hear plans to develop a Jamaican restaurant at 6637 Germantown Avenue. You must register for the RCO meeting to receive the log-in credentials. Join us!

New blooms in Carpenter Park.

Many hands make light work!.... That was the case with the opening of Mt. Airy Business Improvement District's six pocket parks, headlined by former Eagle Connor Barwin, on Thursday night! Thanks to the BID Board, BID ED's Tia Mathisen and Janis Risch and the many property owners who offered their properties, community members who donated $$ and contractors who gave their time and effort to create beautiful gathering spots for our community.

Join us tonight at 5:30 - 7pm to celebrate the grand opening of Mt. Airy BID's 5 pocket parks along Germantown Avenue. Welcome special guest, former Eagles player Connor Barwin, and see what everyone is talking about.
