Asalamu Alaykum, We stand in solidarity with the peaceful protests demanding the end of systemic racism faced by Black people in this country. Islam implores us to seek justice irrespective of class, gender, or creed, so we must confront anti-Blackness through action. We have joined a nation-wide Muslim Students Association’ Coalition dedicated to constructive action in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement. As a part of this current $7075 coalition, we will be matchin...g donations up to $100. It’s very simple! Upload donation receipts towards any fundraiser for the #BLM Movement to this form: https://forms.gle/tSvpsJsRFbfvhppM9 by June 20th. By June 27th, we will let you know of the total donated money and the organization we have selected to donate to. Please advertise this coalition! SPREAD THE WORD to build financial momentum for the #BlackLivesMatter movement. As you may have heard, university events are canceled, so this will include all upcoming MSA events. However, Jummah is still on for tomorrow so we will see you then inshallah!
