We have a few seats remaining for our upcoming Wine Wednesday event on August 19th. This month's focus is New Zealand. Our wine specialist will guide you through an in depth tour of five wines. Topics will include terroir, the wine making process, growing regions, proper tasting techniques, varietal identification and more. The event is limited to 10 guests and will be held in a manner that allows proper social distancing guidelines to be followed. Event begins at 6:30pm.... $50/person. Please park in the county lot at the base of Packer Hill. To enter please come to the back door of the mansion and ring the bell. COVID-19 Update: Governor Wolf has updated the state mandated COVID-19 requirements for bars and restaurants as of 7/16. Any visitors who are coming to Libations Lounge must order food with their drinks to comply with these new rules. We offer cheese plates, so guests can enjoy them with their favorite beverage. All lounge visits are by reservation only. Murder Mystery Weekends are unaffected by the updated requirements and will continue as scheduled. First Friday Wine Tastings are cancelled until further notice. Wine Wednesdays will continue as scheduled. Carbon county goes green! Below is some updated information about our property as we enter into the next phase of the state's reopening plan. The Mansion -Masks must be worn in common areas and social distancing must also be practiced in common areas. -The mansion and Libations Lounge will be open to overnight guests only.... -Meals will be served and seating will be in a manner that follows state mandated guidelines. -We are limiting Murder Mystery Weekends to 6 couples and they will be held in a manner that allows proper social distancing. -Hand sanitizer will be available in common areas of the mansion. -The mansion and Libations Lounge will remain closed to the general public until further notice. An announcement will be made when they reopen and visits will be by reservation only until state restrictions are lifted. -Wine Wednesdays will resume on June 17th and will be held in a manner that allows guidelines to be followed. -First Friday Wine Tastings will resume on August 7th and will be held in a manner that allows guidelines to be followed. The Town -Businesses will be open and will be following state mandated and CDC guidelines. -Hand-washing stations and additional garbage bins to accommodate the increase in take-out food orders have been placed throughout town for your convenience. -Outdoor activities are permitted such as hiking, biking, etc... We are happy to announce the continuation of our events. Carbon county is entering the "Green-Phase" of Pennsylvania's re-opening plan on June 12th. We will be holding the Wine Wednesday classes beginning this month on June 17th. We will begin First Fridays in August since they tend to draw a larger crowd. Events will be held in a manner that allows proper social distancing and they will follow all required guidelines. We look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

Any guests with reservations on or before April 30th may move their dates or put their deposits on account if a future date isn't chosen at this time. As a show of our gratitude we are offering all guests who's reservations have been impacted by this event, a complimentary wine basket when you finally arrive.
