Hi everyone! So here very soon we are going to be offering a couple new things! Steaming Facials! And POSSIBLY hydrafacials! Steamed Facials for sure! I would like to know what your thoughts would be about offering hydrafacials... known as Hydro-dermabrasion... to break it down its HYDRO = water, DERMA = Layers of the skin, ABRASION = Abrasive rubbing or removing dead cells Basically Hydro-dermabrasion is an advanced form of exfoliation using water. It will consist of using ...a water jet, and vacuum suction. It only removes the outer layers of the epidermis which is your dead cells and it removes everyday dirt and grime whilst helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and scarring. It's a deeply effective treatment for renewing a fresh, young looking glow to your skin. It's actually one of the most simplest and least disruptive skin treatments to have done... however the cost of them is a bit more than just your average facial... here at Mystics I would like to have them listed at $110 for first timers and then $140 regular price... vs. A Steamed facial at $50... the after effects of the Hydrafacial are amazing! I'm highly interested in doing these but I would like to get some input, Erie charges $119 for first timers and then a solid rate of $150 for the hydrafacials. Hydrafacials also cannot be performed on anybody with the following: Long term diabetes, metal implants where the treatment will be performed on, open wounds, pacemakers, if you are pregnant, under the age of 18, autoimmune disorders, phlebotomy, thrombosis and varicose veins, use of any type of injected treatments like botox, juvederm, and restylane, sunburns, shingles, hypertrophic disorders, and high blood pressure unless doctor gives a written statement stating you can have them done. I know it's alot to read but I wanted to be very detailed in what ied like to offer and what everyone's thoughts would be and if it would be worth offering here in corry! Mystics wants to personally thank everybody who comes here to Mystics! Without any of you we wouldn't be open... however times are scarey right now and hard. Heard we are preparing another shut down. We cannot promise if we can make it through another shutdown and im sure we speak for alot of other small businesses as well. We are gonna push hard to make it through again if that comes into play. Between our system messing up our appointments and all this stress from another s...care of a shutdown is really depressing. I HOPE we all can make it through if it happens again. But the problem is if theres no customers theres no business. I sure hope our governor helps us all out in some way to help us get through these hard times. We know we dont want to go anywhere.
