As we celebrate 6 years serving our community, we would like to extend a SPECIAL THANKS to all the mental health therapists, agencies and their staff who continued to work and provide assistance to patients during this pandemic. Those employees coming together during this difficult time are to be commended on a job well done! Also, here is a reminder of our summer office hours. We are open Monday - Thursday 9:00am-4:30pm. We are closed for lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm and all day on Friday’s. Should you you have any questions or need assistance, please call our office at 814-807-1330. Due to the recent changes put into effect by Governor Wolf, starting Monday April 20th, face masks will be required upon entry to the building. Should you not have access to a face mask, one will be provided for you. Thank you for your understanding at this time.

Hi everyone! We wanted to send out a little reminder that we are still currently open and our office hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00am-4:30pm. We are also offering our Telehealth Evaluations and Outpatient Sessions during the COVID-19 crisis. Telehealth sessions consist of a phone call/video conference meeting done in the convenience of your own home. *Attention* To further follow federal mandates for social distancing, we are taking a few additional precautions to keep our neighborhood safe and healthy. 1. If you want to avoid the waiting room all together: please wait in your vehicle and call our office to let us know once you have arrived. Your assigned therapist can walk out to meet you or you can enter the office when your therapist is ready to meet with you. ... 2. Limit family members in the waiting room: when possible, please limit the number of family members who attend sessions with you. Social distancing guidelines require less than groups of 10 people in one space. It’s important that we continue to keep the atmosphere at Neighborhood Counseling comfortable for all waiting clients. *Update* With the recent school closings issued by the governor, our in school therapists will not be providing in school counseling for the next 10 business days.
