Nello's Specialty Meats, a Federally Inspected (USDA) meat shop specializing in German and Italian Specialty Meats, including artisan Sausages and Charcuterie, is searching for a hard-working, self-motivated, detail-oriented person to join our team. Our owner has been taught by a German Wurstmacher, using techniques and ingredients from the Old World, and continues this tradition to the present day. At Nello's Specialty Meats, you will have the opportunity to learn the true way to make artisan sausages with Old World techniques, and expand your knowledge to benefit your future in the food industry. Requirements: - Must be able to work in a cold temperatures (sometimes working in freezers and coolers to store products) - Must be able to lift heavy lugs and boxes 50-100lb - Must be honest and hard-working, with a good attitude and is a team-player - Must be able to keep up with a steady and fast paced working environment with accuracy - Must be able to multi-task Responsibilities: - Learning about the meat business (eg. Learning and Cutting choice meat cuts, artisan sausage making, manufacturing, processing, etc.) - Making specialty artisan products (eg. We are fully stocked with Nicola’s Pasta Fresca Ravioli. Two new flavors Asparagus and Ramp & Wild Mushroom. We enjoyed the Ramp & Wild Mushroom for dinner tonight. Delish! Flavor is spot on!!! Other varieties available: Calabese Salami, Cheese, and Beef Short Rib. If you’re BBQ’ing for dad on his Special Day, add Nicola’s Ravioli as a side dish. Everyone will love them.

Duties: Stock Retail Store with Products Manage Retail Inventory Wait on Customers Help in Packaging / Labeling... Job Summary: We are a small meat processing facility in Nazareth, PA. This position is for a retail store clerk. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized associate who can multitask and is comfortable with a customer service role. Associate is expected to be polite, helpful, and willing to do whatever is required of them. Main responsibilities will be in the retail store maintaining shelf conditions, tracking and maintaining inventory, and ringing up customers. Secondary duties may include helping in the production areas doing packaging and labeling or clean up at the end of the day. Schedule is as follows: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm. We are a small but ever growing company and there is room for growth and opportunity to learn. We are family oriented and try to keep things easy going. This job requires a strong work ethic and dependability so only serious individuals need to apply. Applicant must have their own transportation.
