One Beard Love Fest is a family-friendly beard competition being held on Saturday August 25th at Urban Village Brewing Company 1001 2nd Street Philadelphia which is a microbrewery attached to the Schmidts Commons. Registration for the event will start at 11 a.m. Happy hour will start with the event at 1 p.m. giving $3 craft beer to all registered attendees!The event will end at around 4 p.m. followed by a Fishtown Bar Crawl. I will be providing a free arts and crafts table fo...r children to create fake beards with on-site that they made compete with. The next morning all who would wish to have a guided tour of Philadelphia by myself may come along. The sites to see on my Philadelphia tour would be included but not limited to Eastern State Penitentiary, City Hall, the Art Museum of Philadelphia( where Rocky's statue stands) and Penn's Landing. The categories of the event will be as follows. Beards from stubble to 1 inch long 1 to 6 inches 6 to 12 inches All beards over 12 in Mutton chops Whaler Freestyle Women's fake beard Children's fake beard Longest beard in Philadelphia Best in Show The worst in Show At the event there will be Raffles and such to raise money for a good bearded brother who has recently lost everything to a house fire.
