We are saddened to share the news that former Keystone Area Council President Joseph M. Hummer, Sr., 80, passed away on Thursday, March 15. Joe was a strong sup...porter of Scouting for many years. His long Scouting career included service as President of the Keystone Area Council from 2006-08 and his outstanding contributions to Scouting and his community were recognized with the Silver Beaver Award in 2005, the highest honor that a local council can award. A memorial service for Joe will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 24 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 130 Nittany Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, with visitation from 10 AM to 12 noon.
