Newcomers Truck Parts, a local owned & operated Salvage Yard, is looking for a Part Time Scale Operator / Cashier, to work two days a week. Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: -Operation of truck scale to accurately weigh customers in & out of yard.... -Ensure all metals purchased are correct & properly classified. -Inspect incoming material for non-acceptable items -Complete payment transactions efficiently & without error -Provide excellent customer service in order to build positive relationships with customers -Maintain Compliance with local, state, & federal laws -Assist with other general office duties as needed. Qualifications: *Candidate should be a trustworthy, dependable, individual, with a positive attitude. *Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service *Able to work standing or walking for long periods of time *Basic Math & Computer skills *Preferred knowledge of Microsoft & Scrap Dragon Software, but not required. *Must be able to work weekends *Must pass background check & drug screening. CDL Driver Needed. Newcomers is currently accepting applications for full time CDL driver. Must have "Class B" endorsement & clean driving record along with 2+ years experience. Must be able to pass DOT exam. Interested applicants apply in person.

Newcomers office will begin allowing parts customers to enter the office beginning Saturday 5/29. There will be a limit of no more than 3 customers at a time, (no children please) and you are asked to please wear a mask when inside the building.
