Your air filter may look clean but fine dust particles can cause major air flow restriction and loss of fuel mileage. As in the picture here the filter was so plugged with fine dust the engine was actually sucking the filter into the intake. Always ask to have your air filter looked at, its a inexpensive way to increase the life of your engine.
