Hi friends It has been a while but I promise I am still here. For those who have been asking yes I am still doing sessions Social media is seriously my nemesis which is why I haven’t posted in what seems like forever. Even though I am not currently offering studio sessions you can still find me snuggling all the sweet little babies during some cozy in-home sessions. If you are looking to schedule a newborn session make sure to reach out to me 3-6 months prior to baby’...s due date as I take only a limited number of clients per month now for the in-home sessions. I do have a few more openings in March and April for those of you who are last minute planners with getting a session scheduled. Feel free to touch base with me using the link in my bio and I can get you some more info. Happy cozy snow day!

It brings such joy to look through old sessions and re-witness the intimate moments of families doing what they do best... loving and enjoying one another. The last number of weeks have been extremely difficult for me as I thrive off of connection and being around people in the person. I am learning to cherish little moments with my own family that used to go unnoticed back when life was more hustle and bustle and am thankful that these moments haven't disappeared like many other things recently. What a gift it has been to be invited into your beautiful life stories even if it just for a moment. It is a treasure I will forever be grateful for and cannot wait for when I can start being a part of them again soon.

I’ve been making all things sourdough lately and absolutely love these Jalapeño Cheddar Crackers. Sourdough is definitely an art which I have definitely NOT perfected yet. This recipe is pretty cool proof so I generally can’t go wrong and the fam loves them. With just the perfect amount of spice and crunch It’s so hard not to eat them all in one sitting. Sure hoping I don’t come out of self-isolation with the quarantine 15 #staysanephotochallenge #day20 #sourdough #sourdoughclub @ Lancaster, Pennsylvania

5 of my favorite things right now: 1) A drop of Frankincense oil with my @beautycounter moisturizer for some serious skin love cause ya'll, my skin needs all the help right now. I may have been ingesting way too much dairy lately At least I know my skin care is clean even thought my diet isn't right now ha! 2) Coffee of course and @onemissioncoffee is the only brand I’ll use. It is locally roasted by @retbeiler and I love their ethical sourcing value...s + they use swiss water processing Their decaf is the best tasting decaf I've ever used. 3) I may have eaten a third of a bag of @choczero white chocolate chips yesterday. Opps! But the best part? Sugar free and sweetened with monk fruit so no sugar spikes for me Seriously, you need these chocolate chips in your lives!! 4) Seeing my ferns popping up in our yard makes my heart so happy. I have always loved the symbolism I see in ferns: the uncurling of a tightly bound fiddlehead into a beautiful vibrant plant. The story of my life...a constant uncurling. 5) Snuggles with my 6 year old. I want to soak up every moment when I can because I know they wont last forever. We've been enjoying dinner outside by a fire the last number of nights. Such cozy memories with lots of snuggles and some wonderful family conversations fill my heart to the brim. Tell me what are some of your favorite things lately? Happy Thursday friends! #staysanephotochallenge #day19 See more

One morning 7 years ago I had my husband call an ambulance because I was having extreme menstrual pain and was white as a ghost. Something felt terribly wrong. Turns out there were some cysts on my ovaries that had burst. It was excruciating. The gynecologist’s answer was to go on the pill and It disturbed me that she wasn’t even willing to look into possible reasons why my body was potentially reacting this way. It was at that moment sitting in her exam room that I started t...o question everything. After learning about how many harmful chemicals I had in my home and was putting in and on my body I started slowly transitioning to a chemical free lifestyle to help support my body and health. Little did I know it was the start to a passion for sharing with others about toxin free living. Essential oils have been a key part of the changes Ive made over the last number of years as I transitioned to more of a toxin free lifestyle. I am happy to report that my endocrine system is so much happier these days and I can’t remember that last time I used ibuprofen for cramps Now don’t get me wrong here, oils are no magic pill or anything. For me it came down to a lifestyle change that included other things as well such as ditching and switching toxic products from our home with and replacing candles for diffusers etc. because we are inundated with toxin exposure everyday. You can do this too! If you’re looking to start living a more chemical free life start with one simple thing like replacing candles for diffusers! There are sooo many benefits to diffusing essential oils but that is for another post because this is already way too long Hit me up in my DM with any questions you might have. Im here to share any part of my experiences. #staysanephotochallenge #day18

Giving myself grace. It’s the biggest thing I’ve been learning lately. I wish I could say I’ve been learning a new hobby or something new but nope! This time and space is exactly where I am am meant to be and I am learning to be ok with that. So my post comes a day late because...GRACE I spent all day with my family yesterday, uninterrupted and enjoying the outdoors. It felt so refreshing. Almost like a reset.... Mother Nature was sending me little love notes as well. Notice a tiny little heart leaf?! #staysanephotochallenge #day14
