North Hopewell-Winterstown Volunteer Fire Company

Great news! Our Firehouse Siren is back in-service. Thank you all for your inquiries about when it was coming back. We thought we should share that a local resident told us their family prays for the first responders each and everytime the siren blows. The prayers are for the safety of the "volunteers" responding to help others in need. Thanks to Miller Brothers Construction and Double Dog Communications for their assistance with the siren. Pride of 45!

Our hearts, minds, thoughts and prayers are with the immediate families and Fire Service families of our fallen Brother’s and Sister in Baltimore this evening, and in the hard days that lie ahead.

Winterstown Road is now open.

** Update- 13:00 Hrs. roadway is now open** Winterstown Road between Cherry St. in Winterstown Boro and Church Rd. in North Hopewell Twp. is still currently closed to all traffic. Utility Crews have worked through the night and continue to brave the cold temperatures this morning to restore all utilities and remove all hazards. There are currently 5 bucket trucks in the air. Big thanks to all the crews! We will post another update once the roadway has been opened.

Please avoid the area of Route 24 between Cherry St and Church Road in Winterstown Borough and North Hopewell Township. There are several utility poles and wires down in that area.

Station 45 personnel and Fire Police 45 are providing traffic control and Debris Removal responsibilities at the intersection of Rt. 24 and List Rd., in North Hopewell Twp. Please avoid the area for the next hour.

Today is the last day to get some chicken at Hershaull Park. Meals will be ready at 11 AM and are $10 a piece. Come see us at 7677 Church Road outside Crossroads. ** We still have some available but, they are going quick !

Stop on out today at Hershaull Park for some Chicken BBQ at the antique tractor show. We will be serving chickens at 12pm ( until we are sold out). They are $10 a meal. Meals include a 1/2 chicken, baked potato, roll, and Applesauce. Come on out and see us! ** Update, we are currently sold out for the day. The crew will be back out tomorrow and have chickens ready at noon! Thank You again for your continued support.
