We were thrilled to be joined this evening, at our weekly Zoom gathering, by MIDTOWN! Much thanks to KJ, Anthony, Christian and Nick for taking time to visit with us and inspire us! You guys are the best - so generous with your time and so gracious. We appreciate you!!
One of our quartets supporting a local organization. We will always sing whenever we can, and we will always support our community in any way we can!
This week’s virtual rehearsal - great fellowship, sharing fond stories of past members, and watched a great performance of Almost There by Sound of the Rockies.
The simple life sounds great to us, but how about you? Half and Half Quartet is pretty convincing.
A little rhythm review, courtesy of our friends at the Capitaland Chorus.
In these unprecedented times, is there any better way to spend Tuesday evening than singing with friends on Zoom? How about adding a barbershop harmony legend, Rick Taylor? Rick’s stories about his quartets Arcade, BSQ, Riptide and Old School, how he arrived late to a North Pennsmen show while one of his quartets waited (no spoiler here) and about some of his favorite songs were just epic! Those were only a few of the highlights. Perhaps the best moment was singing our finale, Keep the Whole World Singing, with Rick’s beautiful, clear tenor ringing as we harmonized along, in the comfort of our own homes, on mute to catch every last note. Thanks again, Rick! There were smiles all around.
We do love our baritones! They are the glue that holds us together!
We had a very special guest at tonight’s virtual rehearsal... the fabulous Rick Taylor! Thanks, Rick, for sharing some great stories about your quartet adventures. Even more, thanks for sharing your passion for barbershop!
Another fun virtual rehearsal in the books. Good singing, great fellowship, and the pleasure of watching the Masters of Harmony ‘black and white’ set from 2019 Internationals. A good time was had by all!
Tonight’s virtual rehearsal... good music and great fellowship. Looking forward to when we can sing in person!
Virtual hugs are just as good!
Another terrific ‘virtual’ rehearsal! Checking in with each other and singing some great songs are what the mind, body, and soul need!
We hope that you are surrounding yourself with music these days! It is a fantastic companion!
Soon (?) we will sing together again in the same room
