ATTENTION RESIDENTS OF WALNUTPORT BOROUGH: As part of a challenging 2021 budget process, Walnutport Borough Council decided that it needed to eliminate funding for NLRA. We understand and appreciate that the decision was a difficult one. Now NLRA must move forward to make up for this loss of funding. Unfortunately, with Walnutport no longer a member of the Authority, one thing this means is that Walnutport Borough residents are now considered Non-Residents and may be subj...ect to a higher fee for programs. We sincerely hope that you will continue to take advantage of all that NLRA offers by participating in our programs and events, so many of which are free! We also want to thank the Borough of Walnutport for their past support. Looking for something to keep your children active and engaged over the Winter Holiday Vacation? Join us and the Amazing Athletes team for our first Bulldog Wi...nter Holiday Vacation Break, Mon., Dec. 28th to Wed., Dec. 30th from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Friedens Fire Company, Friedens Rd., Slatington. Activities, for children ages 6 to 12, will include games, skill-building and an introduction to a variety of sports. The cost is $35 for NLSD Residents, $38 for Non-Residents.
