We look forward to seeing everyone on June 5! **** Ladies Firearms Class - BACK FOR 2021!! Have you considered purchasing your first firearm? Do you own a firearm but are unsure how to properly and safely use, clean, and store it? Would you like to shoot a firearm in an educational and safe environment? If so, here’s your chance to participate ...in all of thisand more! During this program, we will be covering basic firearm types, proper handling, storage options, safety principles, firearm maintenance, and liability concerns. We’ll begin the day with classroom instruction (coffee and donuts included!) and after that, we’ll head to our range where you’ll have the opportunity to shoot various live firearms under the instruction of North Fayette Township Detective Mark Kern as well as other police department personnel and firearms professionals. This class will take place on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Our day will begin at the North Fayette Township Community Center upstairs banquet room (580 Donaldson Road, Oakdale) at 9:00am with instruction that lasts for 1 - 1.5 hours. From there we’ll move to the firing range on Donaldson Road, around a half-mile away. All firearms and ammunition will be provided. If you own a firearm, feel free to bring it for the chance to shoot it at the range after the general class is over. Your significant other may come along and hang out with us too! We’ll be cooking lunch in the afternoon, sodas and water will be available as well. We normally finish between 1:00 - 3:00pm, but if you need to leave early, please let us know and we’ll arrange to have you shoot earlier. The cost for a full day of instruction, ammunition, food, and hands-on practice is only $50.00 and payable that day. Cash or check only, please. We look forward to seeing you!

The Pennsylvania Snow/Ice Removal Law requires that snow, ice, and other debris must be removed from all windows and surfaces of your vehicle before driving and drivers must have a clear and unobstructed view of the road at all times. You can be fined for driving with snow/ice accumulations on your vehicle and additional penalties exist if that snow and/or ice comes loose and strikes another vehicle or pedestrian and causes injury or death. Those penalties range from $200 to $1,000 for each offense.
