While we're trying to stay warm here in the northeast, Bob is down in sunny Florida presenting at the Dr. Kaushal Shalesh's Can Chronic Diseases be Reversed Annual Meeting. Bob talks about how many health challenges relating to increased inflammation are sharply on the rise and will present new research he named the NADPH Steal. Bob will illustrate how epigenetic factors (toxic substances in our environment) that we were not exposed to 50 plus years ago, are increasing in...flammation in everyone, but impacting those with genetic weakness the most. This is resulting in an increase in what is called mTOR cell building, and a decrease in Autophagy the cleaning of the cells, and an increase in mast cells leading to a decrease in an important molecule called NADPH that helps our antioxidants do their job of reducing inflammation. This multi-factorial combination, that he is calling the NADPH Steal, may be a critical component to our long term health, and he will share ways to compensate for these ever increasing challenges.
