Another very cool piece of York History saved from being scrapped for gold value today...... Many Thanks to Jim for saving this and letting me aquire it & to Ch...ief Art Smith for sharing the knowledge with me. Original 14K Gold badge from Cleve Zimmerman. Cleve Zimmerman was the first Chief of Police for West Manchester Township in 1960. He was also a Constable, Deputy Sheriff and a Private Detective for York County. Badge most likely pre-dates his time as Cheif of West Manchester Twp.
