One swing at a time. Hammer and chisel work separates the men from boys in masonry. With the advent of thin stone, true stone masonry is becoming a lost art, but not on my watch. Many many more stones to make here in New Hope and we are honored to be the ones to make them.

Fresh new stucco job for Ali Barwick in East Falls. This one was a bear. There was nasty grey stucco everywhere, windows, doors, you name it. So we cleaned them up with new Ivory. Thanks Ali!

All wrapped up here in Northern Liberties for the pizza man Theo and his brother Tony Roustopoulos. Really enjoyed working with these youngins. Sad to see this 3 year old house falling apart at the seams. We’ve got them cleaned up and dry. Many thanks Theo and Tony, you’re aces.

We wrapped this job up last year for Morgan and Sarah Salmon. The Salmon and Greenwood families have been good to us and we appreciate them. Awesome pergola built by Dennis Meyer Inc.

After 100+ years she finally gave in. A quick rebuild for one of my faves, Christina VanBaleen in Chestnut Hill. Completely built dry, no mortar at all for this Mica wall.

Really happy with how this one turned out in #southphilly. Full cleaning, cut out and repointing with @limeworks.us in their butter joint material. Tough to get a good pic but the alley side wall was done in mesh and base coat and a synthetic stucco. Many thanks to @bry_daboss_carzo and her client Lily.

One more day of prep before we pour the pro shop entrance at @oyrcc1910. We have been working here for years and are thankful for the folks at OYRCC. Happy Monday my friends!

This was an interesting job we did Cliff Murphy in Jenkintown PA. We used a wall stone for paving to match an existing walkway. Matching this joint was tough and took a few samples to find the match. New stucco on an old wall and Cliff is good to go.
