***** 2nd ALARM MOBILE HOME FIRE 1/27/2021 @1505 ***** O.T.V.F.D. was dispatched to a mobile home fire at 1350 looker mountain trail LOT-1 yesterday. The fire was reported by several people. Otto-Eldred Regional Police and Chief 1810(Eldred Twp.) arrived on scene and reported flames showing from underneath the residence. All persons had been evacuated at this time with no injuries. Tanker 92 arrived on scene and started fire suppression. Shortly after second alarm was ...requested for more personnel. The fire then entered up through the floor on the east side of the house. With prompt suppression and additional personnel, the fire was contained to the East side of the home. However, there was heavy smoke, heat and water damage throughout the home. O.T.V.F.D was assisted by Eldred Borough ST4, REW VFD ST8, Derrick City ST11, Eldred Twp. ST18, Knapp Creek Fire Department, Otto-Eldred Regional Police and the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall. The Red Cross was contacted to further assist the family. After further investigation the cause of the fire was deemed to be an electrical in nature. O.T.V.F.D would like to thank everyone that assisted in this incident including the O.T.V.F.D Auxiliary and The Rixford Well for preparing the food and drinks for the Department. O.T.V.F.D was dispatched this morning to a motor vehicle crash in the location of 133 Red Rock/Main Street Duke Center. On arrival, the roadway was temporarily closed due to a PennDOT plow truck off the road into the ditch. There was no one injured. During the incident summit road was also shut down due to a log truck stuck blocking both lanes of travel.

******VEHICLE FIRE******* On 1/13/21@3:56pm. O.T.V.F.D was dispatched to a tractor trailer fire on SCHOOL ST, OTTO TWP. Otto-Eldred Regional Police responded stated heavy smoke showing from the area but was unable to get directly to the scene. The vehicles actual location was in foster township. St08(Rew) was then dispatched to the scene. The roadway was extremely hazardous and difficult for both FDs to get to the scene. Otto Twp arrived on scene and started fire suppress...ion. St08(Rew) units arrived shortly after. St08(Rew) took over command and once fire was out O.T.V.F.D units cleared and back in service. Otto Twp and Foster township road crews were dispatched to sand the road heavily to assist the fire departments and wrecker service. Otto-Eldred Regional and Foster Township Police remained on scene and conducted their investigation. There was no reported injuries! O.T.V.F.D thanks all of the people that assisted in this incident! ***** Mutual Aid Assist 1/24/2021 @ 1650 ******** 1/24/21-1650 hrs. DCVFD was dispatched on box 11-4 for a chimney fire. OTVFD was put on standby at our station. Engine 91 was advanced to the scene. Upon arrival we reported to command and no action was required. Engine 91 returned to station and all OTVFD units were all in quarters and available.

Mutual Aid Assist St08: (Garage Fire) On, 1/7/2021 at 0130 hours. St09 was dispatched along with St11 for mutual aid assist for St08. Tanker 92 and MA9 were requested to the scene. Tanker 92 arrived on scene and luckily was not needed. MA9 and Tanker 92 were recalled and returned.
