Today an adoption through the rescue my very own family started brought back floods of TERRIFIC memories. ToTo was a present from my dad to me. He was more than a present however he was my only true friend in a very lonely world. He RESCUED me!! Yes, I now realize that I should have known I’d devote my life to dogs considering I had professional pictures taken with my first ever very own dog, ToTo. And also maybe adopting out to responsible pet owning (human) parents who w...ant to get a dog for their child is NOT always a bad thing.... (I generally never post personal pictures of our immediate family (especially myself) as we are no longer the faces of TinyCause. It’s grown way beyond us but I had to share as the irony is too much!)

TomTom (now ToTo) was ADOPTED!! This happy go lucky guy walked right into our rescue confident, well trained and fully vetted thanks to his first momma! His parents came in to meet 2 other dogs in our rescue a day before ToTo came in. Well 3rd time is a CHARM!! Lucky for everyone involved as he’ll now fill their home with silliness and laughter as they continue on with giving him the life of love he knows!!! Happy Tails!! (My 1st ever dog was a black carin terrier named ToTo - that gave me the this moment was meant to happen feels!! Darla)

We’re thrilled their families chose to participate in our program. They won’t contribute to the overpopulation problem which means fewer cats and dogs will end up in shelters and in the streets. Spaying your female companion gives them a decreased chance of developing ovarian cancer, cysts, infections, tumors, breast cancer and pyometra (a... common life-threatening infection of the uterus)! Neutering your male companion prevents testicular cancer, some prostate problems, decreased aggression and desire to roam! Dana (now Annie) was ADOPTED!!! This little adorable fuzzy puppy just landed herself an incredible home! Mom and dad are excited but Chevy, her brother, takes the cake for his precious pitty smile!! Annie is guaranteed TONS of fun and lots of love! (Her foster mommy is now her aunt ) Happy Tails!!

Cody (now Kodi) was ADOPTED!!! This timid SENIOR corgi came to us heartbroken from SC after his unfortunate living situation changed. He quickly won his new parents over AND his corgi brother during their first meet & greet! His loving and committed parents are just as eager for him to let his guard down as is his furry brother (see comments for picture)! Cody feels safest in crates but has an urge to trust us funny 2 legged things so he’ll be gaining confidence daily and be a terrific addition to their home and hearts visually in no time! Alice was ADOPTED!!! This is odd but here we are (minus our 20 year old son and 3 rescued Persian cats)... Tiny’s intermediate family just grew by one!! We had zero intentions of adopting her initially but she was adamant from day one of us fostering her that she just was simply meant to stay. It worked! She’s 2lbs of unbelievable adorableness with the perfect mixture of sassy spunk and pure sweetness. We honestly didn’t even stand a chance and we’re all absolutely honored to be chosen as her forever family!! Happy Tails!!!

Hi my name is Eddie my foster mom calls me Eddie Spaghetti! I like to chew on all kinds of stuff so I need lots of toys to keep me busy. I’ve master the whole potty training, it was easy! I just copied my foster siblings. I bet you didn’t know you get treats when you go outside! I’m working on basic commands like sit, come and shake. I’m not really found of sleeping in my crate at night I like to bark, but I do sleep in it when my foster mom goes to work. I get along with oth...er dogs because I just want everyone to love me. I still need help learning to keep my paws on the ground so sorry if I jump up a little. Our friends at The Proper Pit Bull started dog training classes tonight at Tiny's Fur Family Shop!!! (we were scheduled to start back in March but we all know that story) Thanks to our attendees and trainer!! If interested in FUTURE classes they are $50.00 for a 6 week class (1x week) Notice our kids reading to rescue dogs mural is getting closer to being finished. We hope to start that program sooner than later!

Reid was ADOPTED!! This smaller guy has tons of personality and love to give!! His new wonderful parents adopted him after they made sure he could coexist peacefully with a feline friend and he can!! He’s going to receive all of the love, care and patience while living his best life! Happy Tails!!!

Its all about perspective!! This years pandemic presented many challenges but thanks to YOU, our incredible supporters, volunteers and rescue partners, we made it through it all!! A few highlights of 2020- we had 27 participants in our hip to snip program, a few of our dogs were featured live on air on Y108, we celebrated 6 years of existence, we all felt every emotion possible while saving 196 lives and winning the BEST of the BEST Non-Profit for 2020!!
