Welcome to the City of Pittston Fire Department - Luzerne County, PA

Once again, I share a post with extreme personal heartache... Chris and I went to High School together, were very close friends thru the years, but as many people, we lost touch for chunks of years at a time. Last time we got together, it was like no time passed... talks about the good old days and fire scene war stories! I’ll miss you my friend... Godspeed, Chris - we’ve got it from here my brother!

Just a quick note to all our family... it appears that the collection checks that were sent out on 12/1/20 have finally been arriving at our departments! We apologize for the delay, however the Lehigh Valley PO distribution center is operating at 30% capacity due to Covid. Please note the postmarks on our envelopes confirming they were sent out in a timely manner as always! Checks will be sent out from our office for December collections on 1/4/21. We are unsure of the delive...ry timeframe and it may be like this for several months. Covid has now hit our office physically as well with several employees, including myself, testing positive... we are still operating from home offices as well as routing all new billings through our Texas Office to limit delays in our billings. There may be a slight delay in our completion of end of year statements, but be assured that they will be issued as soon as possible - we will now and always continue to put recovery as our primary goal!
