This Strawberry Shortcake Cake just embraces the warmer weather that is finally coming our way!! Yay!! We are entering the busiest season of the year.....WEDDING season!!! With that being said I have some announcements on dates we are booked, dates we will have to have the bakery closed due to deliveries and time off! Palma and I are working very hard to keep the bakery open 3 days a week plus accommodate the massive amounts of special orders coming in! We are beyond thankf...ul for how busy we are and appreciate all our wonderful customers!! Fully Booked Dates Saturday May 22nd Saturday June 5th Saturday June 26th Saturday July 31st Keep in mind, we are booking up fast, if you need an order this summer, now is the time to reach out. This list of fully booked dates will continue to grow so don’t hesitate to at least get your name down in our books! Dates we will be closed due to wedding deliveries: Saturday June 26th Saturday July 31st If you have special order placed for either of these day’s we will still be accommodating pick ups in the morning. Dates the bakery will be completely closed: Sunday August 1st through Wednesday August 11th. This is a much needed break for Palma and I. Post #1 As we all know 2020 was a year of learning how to navigate through a pandemic and it wasn’t easy on any of us. Palma and I did our best to push through and preserve our small business. Preservation was key for us! We own a business that relies heavily on special events and social gatherings. Palma and I worked hard in the beginning of the pandemic to keep the bills paid and to bring our wonderful employee back to full time! We couldn’t of hung on without so many wonde...rful customers supporting us! We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts and we couldn’t of ended 2020 on a better note. December was a record breaking month With that being said, January is typically a tough month for a lot of businesses and being in the midst of a pandemic may make it a bit harder. Palma and I have done a lot of talking on how we plan to operate in January. We have decided that we will be switching back to a limited weekly menu with pick up on Friday evenings. We will advertise our limited menu on Monday and will allow orders to be placed until Wednesday. Then all orders will be available for pick up Friday between 5-7pm (curbside or in-store pick up available). We will advertise our first limited menu of the month on January 11th, so the first pick up will be January 15th. Unfortunately until Palma returns to the bakery the second week of February we will not be taking any special design sugar cookies or cake orders. We will still be offering a small selection of cake balls, cupcakes and cakes which we will share on our limited menu weekly. While we take a step back this month I will be working on our website....online shopping and shipping will finally be a new addition this year! We had planned to do this last year before the pandemic started but it got put on the back burner. We are happy to be moving forward with it again!
