We are looking for a motivated person to join our small team.. we have many job duties and would train the right person for the job to have them join us in working for local veterans. Duties include kitchen, bar, waitress, cleaning.. Hours are mostly weekends but with days off to do what you want as well. As some of you may know, the COVID has been hitting members and employees of the VFW recently, so to eliminate all rumors and fears we will be closed until the Monday after Easter.. while we are closed, the board has hired a professional cleaning company to come into the building and do a thorough cleaning and disinfecting. If there are any questions, feel free to call the club and leave a message. 724-399-2356 and please if you or a person that is close to you has been diagnosed with COVID, find the cdc guidelines online and follow their recommendations. We need to protect our members and their loved ones through this pandemic.

We would like to thank all who came out Friday night for our Lent Specials!!! We were definitely overwhelmed with the amount of people who came out to support us and have dinner...We would like to apologize to any of the people that couldn’t get a table and the people who couldn’t wait out the wait times of the kitchen. It was very unexpected and we were definitely understaffed for such a busy night.. so, that being said...... we will be better prepared for the big Friday nights in the future and hope you will try us out if you didn’t get to or come back if you had long wait times. We should have most of the issues ironed out for the coming Fridays!! Thanks again for all of the support you show the Veterans!!!

The VFW will be serving a free Veterans Day Meal to any Veteran on Wednesday Nov. 11, 2020 3-8 We have dining in the dining room that will require a reservation or curbside pickup.. please comment here or call the Club for a reserved Veterans Meal. We will also have the full menu available for family members to order from.. The choice of Veteran Meal will be: Cod Dinner, choice of Fresh Cut Fries, Mashed Potatoes, Baked Potato, or Mac n Cheese... And a choice of Coleslaw, Cottage Cheese, Corn, or Small Tossed Salad. Cod can be Broiled with Herb Butter, h Beer Battered or Lemon Pepper. Roast Beef, Carrots and Potatoes Dinner.. this will also have a choice of Coleslaw, Cottage Cheese, Corn, or Small Tossed Salad. Our NEW HOURS ARE: Wednesday & Thursday 4-9:45 Friday & Saturday 4-10:30 Sunday 12-8... The Dining Room and Bar Room will have seating at 50% capacity! Members and Guests Welcome! If you are a guest there will be a sign in book. *The only sign up book we will have is a $5 weekly book which can be signed up until Sunday at 8pm (drawing time) You Must wear a mask coming in, leaving and when you are going to restroom- bar tables are for smokers and dining room is non-smoking.
