Congratulations to our January #ParkerPRIDE Students of the Month!

On Friday, February 4th, the General McLane School District will be operating on a two-hour delay. If the weather conditions do not improve and a move to our remote learning schedule becomes necessary, that will be communicated by 7:15 a.m.

Here is a copy of the schedule middle school students will use on Thursday, February 3rd for the remote instruction day. Students need to be live on Teams for each of their 5 classes at the times indicated for their grade level. Attendance will be taken and a failure to attend live will result in the student being marked absent. If you have technology issues that prevent logging in, please communicate with the teacher.

General McLane School District is announcing a new COVID-19 hotline to call if you have any questions or need to report cases to our Pandemic Coordinator, Krist...en Donnelly. Call the school district number, 814-273-1033, and dial extension 2020. Use this number instead of Kristen’s cell as it will help us work with some of our nurses who are helping with contact tracing. ***UPDATE (9:30 p.m., 12/14): We anticipate the elementary school to be reopened on Thursday. -------------------------- In the past 14 days, there were three ...probable cases and one positive case at McKean Elementary. In compliance with the state guidelines, McKean Elementary ONLY will go 100% online beginning tomorrow. The online period is to last 3 to 5 days, according to the state guidelines. We will submit appropriate documentation to the Erie County Department of Health regarding our cleaning efforts which will take place and our contact tracing and the DOH will determine with us the date of return to in person learning, which will likely be Friday. *Note: this was communicated to all district families in a phone call home on Dec. 14, 2020 around 6 p.m. A transcript of that call can be found on our home page, generalmclane.org.
