Breed of the Week! Golden Retriever Pictured below is one of your own pups, Nico!... This breed is known for its long, dense, golden fur. These are extremely friendly dogs who tend to love everyone and everything. Their soft mouths are great for retrieving water fowl. They are relatively easy to train and make great family dogs. These dogs are very energetic. They thrive in active homes and love to play outside. They tend to have a puppy like behavior through adulthood. While these dogs are wonderful with children, just as with all breeds they should never be left with a child unsupervised. Did you know... "Pitbulls" tend to have a high prey drive and may chase after wildlife (or the family cat). This can be corrected with proper training. Remember to be patient, persistent, and always PRAISE!

Breed of the Week! Bohemian Shepherd This breed is very athletic and intelligent, usually welcoming any activity you throw at them. They do nose work, therapy & service dog, search & rescue, agility, and even dog dancing! They are very family oriented, adore children, and like other pets, making them a great addition to an active family. ... These dogs served as guards thousands of years ago (in the 1300's!).
