Pennsylvania Wing Cadet Programs

Another edition of "Where are they now?" features a former cadet from the Jimmy Stewart Composite Squadron. Parker Scherf has recently been sworn in as a law enforcement officer for a local municipality. We are proud of our cadets past and present and all of their accomplishments. Back at it this week with the great men and women of the Civil Air Patrol. I cannot say enough about the hard work of the group during this time.

Today I spent some time with the cadets at the Mountaintop Alliance Church helping the church with their food distribution. We were visited by a reporter and we shared some info about our efforts. We are just a part of the total mission in PA which has successfully helped provide 200,000 meals and over 3,000 masks to citizens of the Commonwealth! https://www.wearecentralpa.com//cadets-in-local-air-forc/

Very humbling to spend time with some of the cadets up in Group 5 with their POD distribution. I look forward to being able to keep working with you all this week! A perfect example of citizens serving their community.

Civil Air Patrol cadets! This week your NCAC chair and vice-chair will be hosting a virtual town hall for your benefit! The meeting will take place from 7-8 pm ...EST, on Saturday, April 25th. You can attend this online meeting and ask any questions or voice your concerns about how COVID-19 is affecting our cadet corps. The NCAC leadership will explain how their team is working to counteract any negative affects, and will also take note of your concerns to be addressed by the council.
