For Veterans in SE Pa The Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center will hold a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Saturday, January 23, 2021 for eligible Veterans. Veterans must be registered for care in the Philadelphia VA Healthcare System, be age 75+ or between ages 65 - 75 at elevated risk may walk in to check eligibility. Veterans younger than 65 years of age who are at elevated risk can be referred to the Clinic by their primary care team. Veterans who meet the criteria ...but are not registered for their care here should call (215) 823-5800 ext. 20-6000. Marie Urich has decorated her home for Christmas and donated the proceeds to Pa Wounded Warriors for close to a decade. While Christmas Week will be everyday, she is turning on the lights Wednesday through Sunday 5pm -9pm (weather permitting). Please consider a short trip to 325 Kron Road, Lewisberry, Pa m. Happy 273rd birthday, Pennsylvania National Guard. On this date in 1747, a group of volunteers organized by Benjamin Franklin to defend Philadelphia held their ...first muster. The group, known as the Associators, would eventually become what is today the Pennsylvania National Guard. Today’s 111th Infantry Regiment and 103rd Engineer Battalion trace their history to those 600 original Associators. See more

On this day, we remember the actions of Private Ross McGinnis during the Iraq War. He sacrificed his life by throwing himself on an enemy grenade to save his co...mrades.
