The Peirce College Alumni Community just grew by 317! Today, we feature the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Shandai Moore-Jenkins, who is a 2011 Peirce graduate, Philadelphia entrepreneur and active community member. Shandai is the Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Chosen 300, which she was able to continue growing and expanding thanks to her education and experience with Peirce College. A special Peirce Alumni shout-out to Nephetina Serrano, class of 2014! Recently, Nephetina was recognized by Echoes of Africa and the Diaspora with Founder Councilwoman Hon. Jannie L. Blackwell with a City of Philadelphia Citation in support of her work within the community through Covenant Marriages & Covenant Rescue 911. In honor of the late Professor Edwin B. Miller, Dr. Ruth Shaber, Professor Glenn Barnes, Professor Cynthia Gentile and Professor Ivy Kempf created the Professor Edwin B. Miller Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund. Peirce is excited to announce the first ever applications for this scholarship are officially open. Tonight is the night! Tonight we welcome all our alumni, including the Class of 2018, back to campus for an evening of honor and celebration. Online tickets may be closed, but you can still drop in and purchase a ticket with exact cash ($25) or a check (made out to Peirce College). As a friendly reminder, the Alumni Reception will be held at 5:30 p.m. on campus in Rooms 51 & 52. We hope to see everyone tonight as we dedicate the evening to all of YOU! #PeirceAlumni
