I came to the Pet pantry because my mom and dad had to change jobs and couldn’t give me the time needed to burn off my energy, and boy do I have energy! You know what they say! A busy dog is a happy dog and I need an active home with humans that will keep me busy so I can keep my nose out of mischief! One of my favorite things to do is to explore new places. I love to go on walks and car rides and love to meet ne...Continue reading

Update on Jasper and Olive: Merle now Jasper (with arms up) and Smidgen now Olive (adopted March 2021)enjoying their days relaxing in the sun. They want for nothing as they are spoiled rotten! Jasper was one of the kittens from the mom that was taped in a box and left in County Park. ... Olive was severely sick with an upper respiratory infection. She was skittish and and hissy when first approached. You’d never know it now. She is one of the sweetest kittens ever. Thank you Pet Pantry! You are so welcome! Thanks for adopting from us. The pictures are beautiful and keep us updated.

Hello everyone! My name is Berry and I am about two years old. I came to the Pet Pantry with my three kittens after being found outdoors. I was a very sweet mama in need of some help. We were all covered with fleas and very thin. I wasn't producing much milk so my babies were very small for their age and weak. We were taken to foster with one of the rescue managers here where we received fluids and some good food, which my kittens took too right away! Since we were all eating... and doing well, the next day we were moved to a foster with more privacy and room for my kittens to play. It was still rough going for a while as we had parasites to be treated for and nutrition to make up for. Once my kittens were eating pretty well without me, I came back to stay at the Pet Pantry for closer monitoring. I hadn't been eating a terrible amount because if I did it upset my stomach and made me sick. Dr. Fijalkowski ran bloodwork and figured out a diet that worked for me while I grew stronger. Soon I was well enough to be spayed, and now I have a clean bill of health and am ready for adoption! Personality-wise, I am a very sweet lady. I love to be petted and loved on and am fine with being picked up and held. I'll even purr for you! I settle in pretty quickly to new situations. Other pets don't seem to bother me much. I've kept to myself during my stay here and in foster, but I don't think I would mind sharing a home as long as we have a proper introduction! As much as I love to be petted, it can get overstimulating from time to time. I prefer if you keep the pets and rubs to my head. Although I'm shy here at the Rescue I just know that once I have a home of my own I will be the purrfect companion for someone! Adoption Fees: Kittens 2 - 6 months - $125 +tax Adults 7 months - 6 years - $85 +tax Seniors 7+ years -$65 +tax All of our adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. For kittens that are too young to receive all of their vaccines before being adopted, we will provide the vaccinations they need when they come of age at our clinic for no extra charge to you. Appointments will be made at adoption. At this point in time, we are doing adoptions by APPOINTMENT ONLY. If you are interested in adoption please visit our website at petpantrylc.org to fill out an adoption application. Once complete, our adoption coordinator will be in touch to discuss availability for a "Meet and Greet"/adoption. #petpantryoflancaster #adoptdontshop #meettheneed
