Sub-Acromial Irritiation Sub-Acute One of my favorite and most used exercises The reason we love this exercise (TRX Serratus Slides) is because it reflects how we evaluate the shoulder. It begins with the spine and works it’s way distal. Create rounding through your thoracic spine, focus on scapular upward rotation and not elevation. It’s about getting your scapula into your armpit, not into your ears. #rehabdifferent

I came across this picture today. It was taken in 2018. At that time I wanted to help patients by giving them my undivided attention, working through their problems and educating them on how to reach their goals. When I didn’t know answers I would go home and research them so that I would. I would take the time to make sure they fully understood the rehab process and that I fully understood their needs. I made sure that they were comfortable moving forward with their injury a...nd educated enough to continue moving in general. wanted to help guide every patient on their rehab journey as best as I could and while doing that I would continue to improve myself as a Physical Therapist. Since then we’ve added some people to payroll, we have many more patients coming through our doors that are looking to rehab injuries and come back from surgeries, stay active and continue an active lifestyle, we have formed great relationships with surgeons, strength coaches, trainers gym owners and local business owners. But overall, not much has changed, the values stay the same, the goal stays the same. Provide the best possible care to every single person that walks through the door. The only thing different is we threw a little paint on the walls. #RehabDifferent

Bilateral Achilles Pain Chronic Focus on Pelvic motor control The athlete here was struggling with bilateral achillies pain. He wasn’t able to play soccer or run without symptoms in his calf, achillies and foot. He tried traditional PT. It failed. We looked deeper and found that the problem was stemming for his pelvic motor control. We have made incredible progress. He’s back to playing soccer this weekend. #RehabDifferent ... UCL Reconstruction Rehab 6 Weeks Post Operative Introducing Stress to the Medial Elbow . Re-introduction to stress on the UCL/Medial Elbow has to be gradual to protect the repair but also to prevent other complications. Introducing to much stress to the elbow can cause impairments that result in graph site pain, synovitis, or ulnar neuropathy. Together these three occur in about 37% of patients at some part throughout their UCL Rehab. #RehabDifferent

Manual Isometrics 4 weeks Post Operative Achillies Repair Manual isometrics are essential early in the rehab process. They allow you to modify and manipulate the amount and direction of force. You are able to generate muscle contractions without changing muscle length, so you can build strength without effecting the repair. Protect the scar from wound related complications, be aware for signs of DVT, and refrain from strong dorsiflexion activities to protect the repair. #RehabDifferent
