¡Feliz Día de los Muertos 2020! Many thanks to all who joined us for our virtual celebration Friday. It was an evening of music, dancing, games, and daily fun! Here is the video we watched together at the event--a slideshow of our students' ofrendas and other artwork.

Tonight, the Pittsburgh Public School Board passed a resolution regarding the return to school buildings in Pittsburgh. Beginning on November 9th, only students... who are grouped into "Cohort D" (those with IEPs, 504s, ELLs, and those who have not been learning under the current remote system) will return to school 4 days a week. All other students will return to in-school learning models in January of 2021. With the rising Covid-19 cases and worries of infection, this plan will allow those who have the highest needs to resume their education, and keep the safety of students and teachers a priority.
