David Hill, of the Holmesburg/Mayfair sections of Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly on May 29th, 2021, at age 49. A beautiful service was held today for a Super lady which was represented by her family by placing a Superman shirt on her for the reposing. It’s tough to live in another state and hear that your father passed away. Immediately, you have to hop on a flight, and go straight to a funeral home to make arrangements. I can’t imagine! Yesterday, we held a memorial and prayer service for a girl that left this world at a very young age, 18. She loved Batman, so it will be fitting as her family will place her cremated remains in a Batman urn, sculpted from marble. Having a funeral for a 21 year old that died tragically is heartbreaking. She was a mother, a daughter, sister and loved one to many. Emotions run high during some services but in the end, having the memorial and remembrance with dignity is what matters. That was accomplished yesterday.
