To help provide additional relief, PHLCouncil recently approved a new commitment of $7 million in CARES Act funding for small business relief. The funding will provide grants for about 400 additional Philly businesses who applied for the Commonwealth’s program but previously remained unfunded. The City has now committed $110 million in government, philanthropic, and private funding to support Philadelphia’s small businesses and nonprofits.
