Big shout out to PH Tool customer SpaceX on the successful capsule splashdown today! First time astronauts have returned to earth this way since 1975! We are no longer reliant on the Russian Space Federation to get our astronauts to and from the international space station and low earth orbit. Well done!

It is a big day for our customer and partner, SpaceX, as they prepare to send two NASA astronauts into orbit. This will be the first time a private company pulls this off and is a return to humans in space after a 10-year absence since the retirement of the space shuttle fleet. Best of luck today on a successful launch.

During the recent months as the COVID-19 pandemic has unraveled, Pennsylvania issued a shut-down of all non-life sustaining businesses in response. After careful review, PH Tool was allowed to remain open and was granted "Essential Business" status by Governor Tom Wolf, due to the level of support we provide to Aerospace and Department of Defense contractors. How we've handled it.... By implementing a reduced workforce and varying shifts, frequent and increased sanitation ...measures, monitoring of employee interactions (by utilizing masks, taking temperatures daily, and social distancing), as well as a multitude of other changes to the nature of the workplace, PH Tool has successfully remained open and operational (and healthy!) while abiding by the World Health Organization guidelines. We feel fortunate to have been able to remain open during this time, both for the sake of our employees and our customers. We hope that you and your families have remained healthy and happy, and we will continue to update you on our status as things develop. Thank you for your support during these challenging times.
