FYI:..We are currently out of fatheads..we still have a small amount of medium & large shiners.. but we still do have worms & mealworms available....more shiners & other bait will be coming tomorrow about lunchtime...sorry for any inconvenience

Fishing is still hot for trout, but customers catching variety of fish..we still have Fatheads, Medium & Large shiners, but we are limiting them to 2 doz/ customer...yes it has been that busy, so we try to make sure we don't run out so that everyone can have a chance of buying some & enjoy their time fishing....keep cool this weekend..thanks for your support

AMENDED UPDATE TO FYI: We are now able to accept credit cards...we are unsure of what the problem was, but it worked itself out....it's a love/hate relationship with technology...something to be said for cold, hard, cash.....lol....

FYI: Due to circumstances beyond our control, we cannot accept any credit card transactions. We are not sure when this problem will be rectified. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for our customers. We still can accept cash however...lol...we still are stocked with bait, shiners, mealworms, nitecrawlers...

Yes we're still here...haven't posted much because not to much fishing going on, but the people going fishing seem to be doing ok..we are getting ready to have our annual " bust Bill's balls" starting December 1st-December 31st. Come in during that month, pick a Xmas ball, bust it & receive a small gift bag from Pierson Plugs as a way of saying thank you for patronizing out little store this past year....Bill does have more than 2 balls...lol...and they come in different colors too!!!!

We hope all our FB followers made it thru the storms. Quite literally, most of the roads coming in out of our place were flooded, and we lost power for about 12 hours, but we all made it thru. We will have more bait coming in tomorrow, so we hope to see you this week & weekend...

FYI: this Saturday is fish for free day. No fishing license required. We hope all of our Facebook followers have a great, safe & happy 4th of July. We will be open our regular hours & we will do our best to keep bait & tackle in stock. Like all other businesses, there are always hiccups in the supply/demand chain. We have the following bait available at this time: Nitecrawlers, mealworms, small shiners(they are bigger than fatheads, but smaller than medium shiners) and we also have fatheads and super mealworms ( no they don't wear a red cape & fly...lol)...drop by for any fishing needs or questions you might have to ask our resident fish whisperer "BIll"...lol...anyway or just stop by to BS...just remember the new mandatory masks ordered by the Governor....
