We welcomed the first #AmazonAir flight to the airport last night! Daily cargo service at PIT will expand Amazon.com's network and improve delivery logistics for Western Pennsylvania while creating jobs and making a significant downstream economic impact.

It’s like a car wash for your hands! The latest addition to our #SafeTravels program is a new, high-tech hand washing station, thanks to a partnership with Meritech. The automated hand wash removes more than 99.9% of dangerous pathogens from your hands in 12 seconds! We’ve reached new heights this month! On Oct. 8, we saw our busiest travel day since the start of the pandemic with more than 7,000 departing passengers. We also recorded our busiest travel week between Oct. 12 18. Looking forward to continued safe travels through the holidays!

This month marks our 28th birthday! Here’s a look back at the ribbon cutting held for our current ‘midfield’ terminal on Oct. 1, 1992. PIT’s unique X-shaped design still makes it one of the world's most innovative airports.

Crews worked with local artist Carin Mincemoyer last week to install ‘Shy Canopy' in Concourse A. Suspended along a 90-foot skylight, the installation adds a 'calming' forest feeling - with structures made from poplar and birch-veneer plywood. https://bit.ly/2T8te1N
