Hello Everyone! I have four things to tell you so stick with me: 1. We need help at 9:30am tomorrow morning to move a whole lot of furniture at the Oratory. It will probably be about 30-45 minutes and we could use 4+ strong folks. If you can help us with this Ordination-related task it would be SO appreciated! Due to the recent easing of restrictions, we have more room at the Ordination reception than we did before. So, we want to invite you all! The experiences that benefactors to the Oratory’s ministry and to Rednal provide for students will set them up to lead fantastic lives as Catholics that will surely help in revitalizing the Church, home life, and whatever vocations they will endeavor to pursue. Access to Rednal and its amazing retreats has been one of the greatest blessings of my life in college, and I hope that other students, too, will be able to share and experience this great place for many generations to come! SEND A STUDENT ON RETREAT - Anna, Pitt Class of 2022 Rednal is where my spiritual life really took off in college. My first retreat was just two weeks into my ...freshman year and I am still best friends with the people I met there. Rednal is where I am able to experience true silence and peace, especially for being a busy college student. I now try to go to at least one retreat a semester and it is always amazing. SEND A STUDENT ON RETREAT Spencer - Pitt, Class of ‘21. Even after being on over ten retreats and putting in over 80 volunteer hours at Rednal I can say that e...very time I am there I am spiritually renewed. There is just something about it that radiates the peace of Christ. Send a student like Spencer on retreat this year: pghco.org/send It is Rednal Season here at the Oratory! While we will not be holding our Rednal Benefit this year, we will still be spending January and February seeking to raise the $50,000 necessary to run our retreats program for the coming year. Next week we will be sending out our first ever Rednal Newsletter, in February we will post information about the Rednal Raffle, and today we are excited to launch our first annual Send a Student on Retreat appeal! Three times a week you will get a glimpse into the thoughts and stories of the many students whose lives have been positively impacted by their time at Rednal.
