Update on the Adopt a Family (From Carol Greiner) Thank you Church family for once again going above and beyond for people in need. With your generosity we were able to provide an amazing Christmas for a family. The church provided $300 from the Poinsettia fund, I combined that with contributions from individuals of $240, and went shopping. I combined what others purchased with what we bought and here is what we did. We provided AT LEAST 5 complete winter outfits for each child. And a pair of quality snow boots for each of them as well as hats and gloves and warm socks. For April the 5 year old; 3 baby doll sets A princess board game And a Mermaid Snuggie For Kameron the 7 year old A set of first responder trucks A large remote control Police rescue pick up. And a book. For AubreyAnna the 13 year old A new pair of Nike basketball shoes and several packs athletic of socks A makeup set Some gift cards to stores that teens like to shop in (as assured by my daughter) For the family as a whole $200 in groceries Several gift cards for each of them to go shopping for wanted items. 4 popular board games. A large tin of popcorn to enjoy while play games. And some Cash for Jennifer (mom) to purchase something for herself. If I missed anything it is because I couldn’t remember it all. This completely filled the back of my car. Important Information Christmas Eve - December 24- begins at 4:30 Offering envelopes for 2021 are available in the back of the narthex.
