Celgene Class Action Lawsuit Settlement For Information Purposes Only Celgene Corporation (now part of Bristol-Myers Squibb) has agreed to a new settlement in a class action lawsuit about whether it acted to keep generic versions of Thalomid (thalidomide) and Revlimid (lenilidomide) off the market. The agreement provides $34 million to patients who paid out of pocket costs for Thalomide and Revlimid.... The deadline for participating in the lawsuit is October 15, 2020. Detailed information and a link to file a claim is available at: www.thalomidrevlimidlitigation.com. Please note: By participating in the settlement, Settlement Class Members will not release any claims for product liability, breach of warranty, breach of contract, or tort of any kind (other than a breach of contract, breach of warranty or tort based on any factual predicate in this action), a claim arising out of violation of Uniform Commercial Code, or personal or bodily injury. However, many other claims will be released if class members do not exclude themselves from the settlement. (Note this is different than filing a claim form. If class members do nothing, they will release many claims meaning they cannot bring a lawsuit against Celgene in the future).
