We had over 50 people participate in the PZ Sisterhood Mixology Night. We learned how to make a Pina Colada, Mai Tai, and the Wizard of Oz. Between each drink there was a fun trivia game. Thank you to our celebrity bartenders Adam and Shifra Poznanski and thank you to Shana Ziff and Avital Goldwasser for co-hosting this evening. JAA CHANUKAH CHESED OPPORTUNITY: If your child is interested in singing a song, telling a joke, or simply saying Happy Chanukah!" please send a short video to [email protected] with the subject line JAA video-PZ, ideally by Tuesday, December 8th. This should just take a few minutes (or even seconds!), and the more videos we have, the more joy we will bring to the residents. ... We are also collecting Chanukah cards for the JAA residents. Last week’s storms resulted in damage to the Poale Zedeck Memorial Park Cemetery in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. High winds, multiple fallen trees and excess debris ...caused two monuments to be pushed off their base centers. In the coming days, six trees will be cleared, and work will begin to repair the affected headstones, said Joel Ungar, chair of Congregation Poale Zedeck's cemetery committee. Based on estimates from tree services, Ungar anticipates that the extensive damage will cost tens of thousands of dollars to repair, and that doesn’t even include the stones yet, he said. In the weeks prior to the High Holidays, Jewish cemeteries typically experience increased traffic. Ungar acknowledged the timeline and said that the cemetery committee is tirelessly ensuring that the area is made safe and that the monuments are repaired. We’re working on it, he said.

PZ’s first virtual paint night was a success! It was so much fun seeing all of you last night. Thank you Chantal Bernicky-Belman for leading us in an artistic date night and thank you Rav Daniel Yolkut for your words of Torah. It has been fun seeing so many paintings.
