We all are shaped by the story we believe. This story guides our beliefs, sets our expectations for what is possible. But is the story you follow the true one for fullness of life? There is story of a man named Jesus whose life, death & resurrection gave birth to a New Humanity. A new way to be human and a new story began, which freed others from the bondage of their enslaved story. The writer of Ephesians, Paul, experienced this new freedom story. His life radically changed... caused him to write 13 letters in the NT. The letter to the Ephesians is special because it is not writing to a response of another letter, but instead setting out the manifesto of what is means to be new in Jesus. In this first message of our new series All Things New, we set out a frame work in how to read the beginning section of Ephesians. This letter is almost 2000 years old with a Jewish style of writing. There is a design to the letter which leads us a mountain point, the writers intent. Eph 2:21-22 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. In Jesus we are a Holy Temple! Its not a building, but you are a space where Heaven & Earth collide, a space where the presence of God dwells. This was always Gods heart. Paul lives by this story, in Jesus we are vessels of His presence to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. The Holy Spirit, the gift, the seal of salvation, is the power which catalyzes renewal in our worlds. This is our mountain point in which we will journey to as we read through the first 2 chapters of Ephesians. How do you feel about being a Holy Temple of renewal? Is this the story you live by? Join us as we learn together what this means for our walks as followers of Jesus.

DAY 17 HEARTS IN THIS NATION WOULD TURN TO JESUS 2 CHRON 7:14 ISAIAH 45:22 Heavenly Father we come with this continual prayer for our nation, that it would turn to follow Jesus. In this dark moment would we awaken to You, God being our only hope of salvation. We repent where we have not been the example to others and ask Your help in walking out a life devoted to loving and following you Jesus.... Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done, In America, As It Is In Heaven.

DAY 16 RENEWAL/REVIVAL & UNITY OF CHURCHES IN THIS NATION PSALM 85:6 EPH 4:1-3 Heavenly Father, we thank you for the awakening and renewing that you have brought to the churches over this past year. Even through the difficulties you have turned dark moments for good, causing your people to come alive. We thank you for Your faithfulness, walking with us and guiding our steps. We continue thou to ask for the cleansing & stirring of hearts in your church! Let longing for... you God arise, with new passion and desires even in this broken moment. We are the chosen expression of which You wish to manifest Your Glory. Help us to be the witnesses of the hope & power of the Gospel. Father, by your grace and for your glory, revive us, transform us, and free us for your sovereign and saving purposes. We ask you also bring about the desire of unity in the body of Christ. In a season of which we have awakened to the need of another because of separation. May we also awaken to the need of other churches. You have given Your unique characteristics to each community. Help us to value and come along side one another to show the world the power of unity not uniformity. Give us hearts that seek to understand rather than be right. May we been known by how to we love one another. In Jesus Name Amen! See more

Message Reflection: Comfort is the great enemy of the soul. Revelation 3:15-16 talks of a believer who is lukewarm in their spiritual walk, is detestable to God. The challenge we face as Christians is living in apathy, lacking in interest or having no concern for our spiritual lives. It is not that we don’t have good intentions to be followers of Jesus! Yet these intentions do not manifest into meaningful action. Only keeping us in a dreaming state of what could be, never tru...ly tasting of Jesus’ promise of life to the full. Much like a man with a dull axe trying to cut down a tree. How can we shift from ideas, to power for change? How can we sharpen our axe? Jesus teaches certain things can only be broken with prayer and fasting. Fasting in the Biblical sense is choosing not to partake of food. To not only align your words with heaven but to bring your whole body into action. Richard Foster says this More than any other Discipline, fasting reveals the things that control us we cover up what is inside with food and other good things. 1. Fasting slows us down - We live fast paced lives and are swamped in a sea of distraction. Fasting strips away the unnecessary and makes us more aware and present to Gods voice & will. 2. Fasting gives what your spirit needs - The world teaches us feed your body, nourish your desires. Yet these are both unhelpful things when trying to discern what decisions to make. Jesus fasted to strengthen His spirit when battling Satan. Strengthen what is important. 3. Fasting is not twisting the arm of God. Instead it shows how serious we are about the perspective of His kingdom. A surrendered heart is the only true gift we can give God. What action can you start today? Missing a meal? A day of no food? Don’t slip into just good intentions but enable the living God to realign and empower you.
