It is with sadness that I write to let you all know that the playground/ dog park is closed until further notice as the virus is spreading more quickly. I will update you all when the park has been reopened.

Parks and Rec has updated their statement and the park is officially still open. We will keep you updated if this should change.

Hi Friends! Great news... the hose is on! Hopefully spring comes extra early and the weather remains mild... but if temps turn frigid again, please reach out here or to the popsdogs@gmail mailbox if you notice or experience any issues with the water source or hose. Thank you!

Hi everyone, its great to see the park and pups back in action! Hopefully you have received an update by now via email but if not, please reach out to [email protected]. Also, if your email has changed please let me know that as well so I can update your information. Thanks!

Good afternoon! I've just heard from PWD that the park is ready for action! Thank you all for your continued patience....just a few more loose ends to tie up and we will be ready to welcome pups back to the park. Full transparency... those loose ends just mean exchange of PWDs lock for ours and ensuring there is a trash can over there so we can avoid a messy start to the opening :) I am waiting to hear back from the contact at PWD for the exchange and will follow up with the entry code once our lock is back on the gate.

hi all, It's been awhile since the last update... primarily because there is no opening date to report. The latest is PWD needs to install the water meter. I don't have an ETA for when that will happen or an opening date. I'll do my best to keep you all in the loop as soon as I get any updates.

Hi everyone! There are lots of questions about the opening of the dog park. Unfortunately there is no set opening date...the latest information is there are a few items still to be addressed by the contractors. Once that happens we need to coordinate with the contact at the parks to re-open the park. As I get more information I will post here!

Hello Pops Dogs park fans... there is an issue with the gate at the park remaining unlocked. This is a problem because it allows non-members and others who don't belong into the park access. As a result, the lock code has been changed as of this morning. I will be reaching out to our current membership with the new code; expired members will need to renew their membership to get the code (I will send an email to that group as well). The fee is $20 annual per pup family. If y...ou need immediate access to the park, please email this page OR email [email protected] and I will get back to you ASAP. For everyone - please remember that the park is maintained by volunteer members. If you see something that needs to be fixed or addressed please reach out to me and I am happy to work with you to find a solution. Your participation as a member is the only way to keep the park welcoming for you and your pups. See more
