Attention!! Delicious Chicken BBQ for Sale!! Porter Tower Lions Club will be having a chicken BBQ this Sunday, May 23rd! Time : 11am 1 PM... No pre-sold tickets-First Come, First Served. Platters will be sold drive-thru style in the alley behind the Lions Club (same as last year). Turn up George Street (two blocks east of the Lions Club) and EXIT at Car Wash. Lions Driveway Will be Blocked. $9 per platter. Platters include half a chicken, potato, applesauce and roll. Thank you for your continued support!

Our second District 14-U Cabinet meeting. This one was held at the Porter Tower Lions Club. Attendance was good and the meal was provided by Hess Catering. If a...nyone left hungry it was their own fault. Guest speakers were Terry and Kathy Boyer. They discussed the sensible use of hazardous home products and provided safe alternatives for the same. The Porter Tower Lions Club is honored to have one of our very own to be District Governor this year. Lion Gary Bender. We are very proud of Lions Gary & Melissa Bender for all that they have done for not only our local Club but the entire District which includes over 30 Lion Clubs. Lion District Governor Gary Bender's official visit was this past Thursday.
