We’d like to send our condolences, thoughts and prayers to the family of Glenn Stitt. Glenn was the head scorer at Port Royal Speedway from 1965 to 1985. He pen...cil scored the first Tuscarora 50. He also served as a car owner in the 60’s. His son Ken Stitt drove in the late model division in the 70’s and a year in sprint cars. He also had two grandsons Ken Jr and Steve who drove Thunder Cars, Pro Stocks and late models over the years. Upon moving away from the area, Glenn presented the speedway with detailed history of all racing events from past years that we were able to preserve and document for generations to come. Truly a pioneer at the Speed Palace, his impact still resonates today with deep family roots and a passion for dirt track racing and Port Royal. We thank you for you efforts and for allowing us to continue the legacy today! Glenn Stitt was 92 years of age upon his passing. May you R.I.P

Port Royal Speedway is proud to announce that PennsValley MeatMarket will return to the speedway as the official sponsors of our PA Sprint Series 305 sprint car... division for the 2021 season. Frost Bierly founded the Penns Valley Meat Market in the 1980’s. He and his extended family have been in the meat business for generations. Frost is now semi-retired and his kids operate the business today. Both he and wife Kathy are fans of the local racing scene, especially at Port Royal where they are regular attendees. Penns Valley Meat Market is located on East Main Street in Millheim, Pa. They have fresh meats at great prices and specialize in several store-made itemsscrapple, ring bologna, smoked cheeses, smoked sausage, dried beef, jerky, and more. Valley Supply Stepping Up Big in 2021 for Port Royal Speedway Drivers and Fans By- Justin Snyder Port Royal Speedway- PORT ROYAL, Penn. (Dec. 21, 2020) Less th...an a month ago, Port Royal Speedway announced an increase on the winner’s share for all of the Ollie's Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 races for the 2021 season. Thanks to one of our valued partners, the Saturday night April 17th event just got even bigger. Valley Supply has come on board as the presenting sponsor for the sixth annual Keith Kauffman Classic and the winner will now receive $10,000 to win. Originally announced as paying $8000 to the winner for this season, the $10,000 marks a $4000 dollar increase from last year’s amount. The event honors Kauffman, a 24-time winner with the All Stars and the winningest driver in the history of Port Royal Speedway. Joining the 410 Sprint Cars on the schedule for the night will be the Limited Late Models racing for a $1500 winner’s share. Valley Supply driver Anthony Macri picked up the win during last years event. The company also serves as a sponsor for Dylan Cisney Racing. To be affiliated with a legend like Keith Kauffman can only help our company and we see this is a great opportunity and an honor said Harvey Sipe, owner of Valley Supply. Sponsoring Port Royal Speedway and big events like the All Star Circuit of Champions will do great things for our company and we love supporting a sport whose fans are so passionate and deserving. For the 2021 race season at the Speedway, Valley Supply will also be offering a $200 Hard Charger award weekly to the night’s biggest mover in 410 Sprint Car competition. This marks the second year in a row they will be offering the bonus. The hard charger sometimes is the best race on the track and it’s something we really love doing, said Sipe. And sometimes that money can go to a smaller team who is deserving and every little bit can go a long way in helping those teams. The incentives don’t stop at the drivers though, as Valley Supply will be getting the fans involved in 2021 as well. Each week at the main gate entrance, Valley Supply will be handing out various swag such as footballs, hats, shirts and more. Those giveaways will have numbers attached to them representing the starting positions for the night’s 410 feature event. If the fan has the number with the driver who earns the Valley Supply Hard Charger award for that evening, they will receive $30 cash courtesy of Valley Supply. Some of the giveaways will also carry a symbol in the place of a number and if a fan has that item, they will receive $30 cash along with a free pass to the next week’s racing event. We love supporting the drivers on the track, but this is a way to get the fans involved and make things more exciting throughout the night, said Sipe. Port Royal has a great fan base and, on most nights, they stick around for all the divisions. Hopefully by doing this, maybe we can convince that extra fan to stick around and have a chance at winning some cool prizes throughout the year. Valley Supply has been a family-owned business for more than 40 years and has been serving the Central PA construction business since 1980 with on time deliveries, knowledgeable employees, and competitive pricing. They provide various products via delivery for all your construction needs and their service covers 80% of Pennsylvania, Northern Maryland, Northeast West Virginia, and Southern New York. They offer a fully stocked showroom in Mechanicsburg, so stop by and visit them for your next delivery or visit them at www.valleysupply.cc Please stay tuned to our various social media outlets and our website www.portroyalspeedway.com for potential changes or news and thank you for your continued support. The 2021 schedule in its entirety has already been released and is available for your viewing please.

Port Royal Speedway would like to send it’s condolences to the family of Guy Griffin as well as the promoters and all employees of the Path Valley Speedway. Guy succumbed to injuries suffered in a micro sprint car crash that occurred in 2017. The fact that he fought his injuries for over three years tells us what kind of man he must have been. RIP Mr. Griffin.
