It is important to have your main electrical service checked. Water is one of many natures destructive forces. For example, this customer noticed the bottom of their electrical panel had completely rusted away. They called for a panel change and upon further investigation, noticed that the top part of the main cable's insulation had dry rotted away turning the cable into a gutter system. This water used the main electrical panel as a pipe draining into the meter base causing corrosion on the main lugs of the meter base. In time, there would have been electrical issues including power fluctuation or even power loss. Fortunately, Primary Choice Electric was able to replace this service in time before any electrical problems could arise.
